This past Sunday was the Senior Banquet for the college group. Yay!

The song really challenged me to examine my life and see whether or not I can also declare that He's always been faithful. I mean, no doubt, He has. But do I really credit God for everything He does for me? Do I know that His hand is guiding me, that His word is above all law, and that His eyes are ever watchful? Do I praise Him even when things don't go my way? The EC ministry is even going through a series of faithfulness, too. I think the Holy Spirit is trying to send me a message. =)

I also successfully made my first cheesecake. Yes, Catherine helped, and then she had to make the chocolate mousse cake which was so good, too! And so maybe cooking/baking isn't that bad. I guess I can do it. =) I just need a couple pointers and tips as I go along the way. Man, do I love cheesecake. Desserts are sssooo good. Everytime I think of desserts and cakes I think of the korean drama "My Name is Kim Sam Soon". Hahahahhaaaaaa. =] That was one good korean drama. I'd watch it all over again... but then skip the unnecessary parts.


Summer school's going juust fine. I realized that it takes me half an hour to get to UIC campus from Union Station. I dunno if that's worth the $1.75 I would pay for the bus fare. But as long as the weather's nice and not too humid, I have no complaints in walking to and from campus.



Today was different. There were shops outside like they do in Europe (I'm sure they're in other countries, tooooo). It was the first time I saw it so it was kind of weird. I'm just walking to the Union Station and I saw this large white tent. And then I saw all these items that I wanted to buy ! They were so tempting ! Grrrrrrr ! But I kept on walking b/c I had a train to catch. But if I could, I'd probably have purchased one of those necklaces.. as long as they were at a decent price. ^ ^ Lots of purses, dresses, and paintings. I wish there were more of these ! Makes the city seem more lively. Even though there are people walking around in Chicago, they're all going to or from work. In downtown it's actually kinda depressing. Until you get to the lakefront it's all kind of bleh. So this little outdoor market was refreshing.



I borrowed some more DVDs and books to read, including I SPY and the fifth Harry Potter book so I can refresh my memory before the movie comes out.
