There were a lot of movies I didn't enjoy and wish that I hadn't watched. For example, Lost in Translation (which I didn't even finish by the way b/c it was boring me), Black Dahlia (didn't catch my interest at all, even if Josh Hartnett was in the movie), and The Wicker Man (some movies have a captivating ending, or one that leaves you hanging but thirsting for more. this ending was just plain poor. it left me thinking, "what the heck. is that it? i jus wasted 2 hours of my life. thanks a lot.).

The ones that I really did enjoy were the two musical movies I watched: RENT and Hairspray. I wanna watch them on broadway now. RENT really made me think about how valuable time (as short as a second or as long as a decade) is. every time new year's comes around, we reflect on the past year--the memories, the fights, the laughters, the parties, the presents. i'm not much of a bohemian.... but there certainly is more to life. Hairspray made me wanna get up and just start dancing in the middle of the theatre. the actors & actresses were well chosen, i believe. especially the main character, Nikki Blonsky. She was so cute! For her first time ever doing a huge production, she was hands down fantastic. Her smile and presence was irresistible and I couldn't help but feel exactly what she was feeling. When she wanted to get up and dance, so did I. When she wanted to integrate the Corny Collins show with blacks and whites, I wanted to shout alongside her and show her my support. I hope she's in more movies.
