i put up this song b/c not only has it been on repeat forever, but that's kinda been the theme for this week. no matter how far i feel from someone, a simple phone call, email, hug brings us back together. hold on to what you believe in, to your loved ones.. just hold on. =)

what are your 10 simple pleasures in life?
honestly, i don't think i could name just 10. or maybe those pleasures aren't quite as simple as i believe them to be. i wrote down 10 earlier this week in an email, but i'll try to think of another 10.

1. reading a good book in the sun, sipping on a cold drink
2. fitting in the last piece of a jigsaw puzzle
3. driving up a steep hill and then switching to neutral as i'm heading downhill and scream out the window =)
4. seeing tulips around april-may
5. reading an encouraging Bible verse
6. jumping in the lake on a hot sizzling day
7. getting new colored pens .. but not using them.
8. walking in the hot sun.. and then cooling off in the shade
9. taking pictures of flowers
10. empty art museum (this isn't so simple b/c it's never empty.. -__-;;)

this week is hot. but it's so sunny, i can't help but smile. so i borrowed a bunch of romantic comedy dvds. =]

i was walking down jackson again and there was that outdoor market again. this time there were MAJOR discounts (right word??). For sunglasses it was like buy one get TWO FREE. Last time it was just buy one get one half off, i think. I think they're desperate.

anyway. it's wednesday, so happy hump day. no class tomorrow! whew. =)
